Start the New Year off with a bang. Let's RESET your relationship with food!

New year, new me! Am I right?? Look, we know nutrition is the most difficult part of getting those goals that you want. So instead of bringing you another "challenge" that focuses on weight loss, and not providing you with the tools you need to continuously stay healthy, we decided a lifestyle reset would help provide you with the tools for long term success.

We are excited to announce Madelyn Guerra will be joining the JF team as our Nutrition Counselor! If you haven't met Madelyn, you're in for a treat. She is full of energy and PASSIONATE about nutrition and she is eager to teach you how to find a healthy relationship with food so that you can get the results you want, but not feel like you have to cut out all of the fun in your life.

Madelyn graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (HOOK'EM 😛 🤘) with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Madelyn is currently pursuing her Masters Degree focusing on Nutrition and Wellness. She interned with Texas Performance Nutrition from 2016-2018, and then was hired and worked from 2018-2020. Madelyn has worked with the baseball, men's and women's basketball, and football team. She has experience working with high level athletes and understands what your body needs to be able to perform, as well as get you the results you want to look and feel better. But more importantly, she is ready to help the Junction Fitness community become healthy and spread her knowledge of nutrition.

Over the 4 weeks of the lifestyle reset, Madelyn will hold two in person seminars at Junction Fitness, while also providing two videos, discussing important topics that will help you further your knowledge on general nutrition. She will be your personal nutrition counselor over the month and will be available to answer all of your questions as needed. The four week content schedule will be as followed:

Week 1: Intro to Nutrition (In Person)

Week 2: Grocery Store Tour (Video)

Week 3: Meal Timing & Fueling for Performance (In Person)

Week 4: Hydration & Sleep (Video)

Since this is Madelyn's first time working with the general population, we have decided to limit the amount of people we accept to 20 members. This will help keep the engagement high, while also being able to provide you with the best service over the 4 week period. Sign up sheet will be at the front desk.
